The Instrumental Jazz Lab Residency brings world-class performing artists into schools to work with jazz ensembles, teaching students how to play like the pros.
Residencies can range from several weeks to a full semester or even a full school year. Each residency culminates with at least one concert featuring the students in performance with their teaching artists plus guest performers.
Jazz House Kids has run Instrumental Jazz Lab residencies in these schools:
