Tyreek McDole tenderly sings music of the Black American Musical tradition alongside some of his favorite musicians. Tyreek McDole, the vocal phenom who’s turning heads and wooing audiences with his rich sound and smooth delivery, has been hailed as a brilliant star. As a child in Kissimmee, Florida , he was exposed to the gospel and R&B stylings of Marvin Gaye and Luther Vandross. Discovering BAM in his early teens, Tyreek found a “home” with swinging baritones such as Billy Eckstine, Milt Grayson and the legendary Joe Williams. Since being chosen as an Outstanding Vocalist by Wynton Marsalis, Tyreek has performed alongside spectacular acts such as Ted Nash, Rodney Whitaker, Marcus Printup, Eric Reed, Carl Allen, Victor Goines, The Dr. Phillips Jazz Orchestra and The Orlando Jazz Orchestra to name a few. Tyreek also spends time teaching for JAZZ HOUSE @ Trinity in New York City.
