PROGRAM ADVISOR | NEA Jazz Master Regina Carter
This groundbreaking NY jazz education program for strings will be led by master string players and educators, sharing their excitement and passion of performing in the jazz idiom. Whether students are taking their first steps outside of the classical idiom or have been jamming for years, this program is designed with their specific needs in mind. In addition to learning jazz standards and essential technical and improvisational skills, JAZZ HOUSE STRiNGS will perform specially arranged music in a Chamber Jazz Ensemble!

• All participants must complete a brief placement audition: please submit a short video of you playing a piece of your choosing which represents your performing abilities.
