A true maestro of the trombone and a pioneer of the seashell, Turre’s group featured the great Rufus Reid on bass, Ron Blake on woodwinds and Orion Turre on drums. Rounding out the group were two of JAZZ HOUSE talented alumni, award-winning Isaiah Thompson on piano and on trumpet Wallace Roney Jr., one of the most exciting voices on trumpet today.
