The joint was jumping! The 4th Annual RALPH PUCCI JAZZ SET will be remembered as one of the most memorable meetings of two music superstars! The sold-out evening with 250 in attendance reunited two of the biggest and brightest in jazz today: multi-GRAMMY Award winners, bassist CHRISTIAN McBRIDE and one of the most celebrated voices and pianists of our time, superstar DIANA KRALL. This was first time the two old friends came together for a night of duets and conversation reflecting upon their journeys, from little-known musicians to two of the most recognizable figures on the scene today. And they did not disappoint!

McBride and Krall traded solos, told stories about life in the jazz lane, and shared their musical and personal philosophies. One of the highlights of the evening was when our wildly talented JAZZ HOUSE KiDS emerging musicians wowed the room as they joined the two guest artists on stage to a standing ovation.  JAZZ HOUSE KiDS mission in action!

Together, Krall and McBride helped transform the incomparable ultra-modern 30,000 square-foot New York City gallery of RALPH PUCCI International, into a steamin’ hot jazz club for one night only!   We send our heartfelt thanks to all both our jazz superstars.
