Before joining the Jazz House in August of 2021, John served as the Development Coordinator for the Bloomingdale School of Music, a community music school on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. John is also a French horn player who has premiered over 100 works by composers such as John Zorn and Ingrid Laubrock and has performed with groups such as the Wavefield Ensemble, International Contemporary Ensemble, Radio City Orchestra, and the West Point Band. John has received degrees in music from the Cleveland Institute of Music and Stony Brook university and in Arts Administration from Columbia University.
