Ryan Anselmi

Ryan Anselmi began performing at the age of 12 with the Twin Rivers Dixieland Jazz band in Osawatomie, KS. From that time on music has taken him on a lifelong journey from the prairie in Wichita, KS to the stage at Marian’s Jazz Cafe in Bern, Switzerland. Ryan received his undergraduate degree at The New School Jazz and Contemporary music program and completed his Masters in Arts Management and Entrepreneurship degree at the College of Performing Arts at The New School.

From 2009 – 2011, Ryan had the honor of recording two records “Out South” & “Letter from Home” with the Jazz piano master Mr. Junior Mance as part of his quintet. Check out this live performance as part of NPR’s Toast of the Nation. Ryan has performed with The Four Tops, The Coasters, The Temptations, pianist Mr. Junior Mance, saxophonist James Moody, The Gold Magnolias and vocalist Jose James.
