Help Shape the Next Generation of Jazz. Featured by NPR’s Morning Edition as a major training ground for young jazz musicians, JAZZ HOUSE KiDS has helped thousands of young people discover their voices, develop their talent, and build confidence through music. Founded by Melissa Walker, what began as a small program for just a few dozen students has grown into a nationally recognized community where young musicians learn from world-class artists, perform alongside their peers, and gain access to instruments, mentorship, career development, and opportunities they might not otherwise have. JAZZ HOUSE KiDS also brings programming directly into under-resourced schools and creates welcoming spaces for young people who have historically been underrepresented in jazz. Your support helps ensure that every young person with the desire to play has the opportunity to learn, grow, and find their place in music and in their community.
