Piano Masterclass with KELLY GREEN
KELLY GREEN leads an Intro to Jazz Piano Masterclass for non-pianists and beginning jazz pianists. The piano is often used as a tool by all vocalists and instrumentalists for song learning, composing, and arranging. In this masterclass Kelly focused on voicing and chord structures essential to jazz piano, tune learning, and composition.
About Kelly Green
Kelly, a JAZZ HOUSE KiDS teaching artist, has been singing since she could speak, began piano lessons at age seven, and fell in love with jazz at age 11. She earned her BA from the University of North Florida and a Master’s Degree in Jazz Piano Performance from William Paterson University. Kelly has performed at many different venues in the tri-state area and loves to compose, teach, and learn. She hopes to inspire future generations to continue the jazz legacy.
